Who can We trust?

At Azul Hospice & Palliative Care AHPC™, we believe trust is earned through transparency, clinical excellence, ethical practices, and showing up consistently for patients and families.

We were built with a different vision.

Founded and led by an experienced Registered Nurse and hospice leader, Azul was created to deliver compassionate, high-quality, individualized care while honoring the dignity, values, and goals of every patient we serve.

What Sets Azul Apart?

Ethics and Compliance First
We believe quality care starts with doing the right thing, every time. Our team prioritizes regulatory compliance, appropriate hospice eligibility for admissions, clear communication, and honest partnerships with referral sources and families.

RN Founded and Clinically Driven
Azul is led by a Registered Nurse with leadership experience spanning hospice operations, multi-site administration, accreditation surveying, and quality oversight. Clinical decision-making remains at the center of our care model.

Rapid Response Admissions and Support
Referrals are typically reviewed in less than 24 hours and often the same day. Our team is available 24/7 to respond quickly when patients and families need support.
Our Own After-Hours Team
We do not outsource after-hours nursing support. Patients and families receive care from Azul team members who know their history, goals, and plan of care.

Whole-Person, Whole-Family Care
Hospice is about more than medical services. We care for physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs while supporting loved ones throughout the journey.

Expanded Support Through the Azul Hospice Foundation
Our affiliated 501(c)(3), the Azul Hospice Foundation, helps support terminally ill patients and families with needs that often fall outside traditional coverage, including housing assistance, comfort resources, funeral planning support, and family assistance programs.
Serving Diverse Communities
We provide care across private residences, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care settings, group homes, behavioral health populations, veterans, and AHCCCS members. Spanish-speaking team members are available, with access to additional language support services across more than 40 languages.

Education Matters
Education is part of our mission. Azul participates in community outreach and educational programs focused on hospice awareness, healthy aging, dementia education, caregiver support, and serious illness planning.

Veteran-Centered Care
As participants in the We Honor Veterans program, we recognize and honor the unique experiences and needs of those who served.

Care That Feels Personal
At Azul, patients are never viewed as numbers, diagnoses, or census targets. We take time to understand the person behind the illness.
